We are looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist/office coordinator to be the face and commander of our office space in Playa Vista. If you are excited about powering up a fast growing tech start up with your amazing attitude, over the top organizational skills and determined work ethic, we’d love to meet you.
Please note, this position will have a 3 month trial period before being offered 8i’s full benefits package.

Requirements:
This role has a diverse range of responsibilities, which include:
  • Be the enthusiastic face of the office to employees and guests alike. Greet guests warmly, get them settled in and connected with who they are visiting. Keep an eye on calendars, making sure front desk is occupied when a guest arrives
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and send directions to guests as needed
  • Booking travel as needed
  • Answer all incoming calls and transfer to the appropriate party
  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing mail/deliveries
  • Maintain a clean office environment, especially the reception area
  • Oversee the ordering of snacks and supplies throughout the office. Organize and order branded items and marketing collateral such as swag (t-shirts, stickers), tradeshow signage, business cards, etc.
  • Assist with safety and security procedures of the office
  • Work with the operations team to design systems that improve the day to day office experience for employees and guests
  • Calibrate AR/VR demonstration machines throughout the day (we’ll teach you) and ensure all teleconferencing rooms and general office equipment is functional at all times
  • General support to the Operations Manager and Operations Team
  • Champion internal culture projects
  • Organize internal and external events including team functions, tradeshow exhibitions, community events, dinners, etc.
This position reports to the Operations Manager, 8i Studios, L.A.
