Under the direction of the Controller, direct the financial affairs of a business entity with a sales volume between 50-150 million dollars. Prepare financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules for the guidance of management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Supervision of Accounting department in the conduct of their responsibilities, including assigning work and managing priorities. - Coordination of monthly closings to ensure compliance with GAAP and AAR policies. - Monitoring of all reporting requirements to ensure that the required deadlines are met. - Perform analytical reviews of monthly financial statements to ensure they are conforming to the profit objectives of management. Make recommendations to management as to areas of improvement on the operating systems, and cost containing opportunities. - Ensure that the inventory cost control systems are properly being maintained and accurately reflect the value of the inventory and cost of sales. - Perform evaluations as to the adequacy of inventory reserve positions. Initiate cost recovery recommendations of aged inventory. - Preparation and distribution of monthly sales and margin analyses to appropriate personnel. - Preparation and distribution of quarterly PIP calculations and disbursements. - Assist in the coordination of the annual plan. - Coordination of account analyses and reconciliations as required by our auditors. - Assist in other ad hoc analyses. - All other duties as assigned.
