About the Role

The purpose of the Office Coordinator is to ensure that office operations run smoothly & efficiently, and to contribute to our fun and caring culture. Vendor management and cost analysis is a big part of this role. So are planning events and brainstorming team building ideas!

Some of the responsibilities of this role:
Execute simple IT projects, such as ordering and setting up laptops for new hires, troubleshooting broken laptops.

Develop and maintain an equipment and IT inventory system.

Act as main hospitality contact--coordinate interviews, greet interviewees when they arrive, accept deliveries, order catering.

Coordinate office improvement projects like mural painting, installing fun window decals.

Coordinate fun and seasonal activities, such as a Halloween costume contest, theme days, company celebrations.

Plan onsite and offsite events for team building.

Coordinate special celebrations, such as employee birthday cards, work anniversary gifts and events.

Take submissions for animal videos of the week and select which ones to show at Friday meetings.

Manage relationship with property management, including making maintenance and improvement requests.

Manage facilities vendors (water delivery, cleaning service, etc).

Maintain inventory and order equipment and supplies (coffee, furniture, office supplies, Legos).

Build office furniture.

Coordinate reserved parking spaces for PetDesk and our sublessee.

Develop facility-related company policies and communicate them to employees.

Perform basic bookkeeping.

About You

Must be able to regularly and reliably use a car for company business (transporting new equipment and supplies).

Familiar with G Suite.

Experience analyzing costs for all types of expenditures, and making frugal yet efficient buying decisions.



Strong sense of responsibility.

Strong organizational, planning and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
