Contributes to the generation of new business and provides ongoing relationship servicing with current members. Cross sell credit union products and services to assist members in meeting their financial needs. Responsible for a proficient understanding of all credit union products and services including personal and vehicle loans with the ability to identify and offer additional referral opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluates needs of new and existing members and offers appropriate financial products and services.
Assist in meeting Branch goals by expanding member relationships through active selling of credit union products and services in support of production and profitability goals.
Provide ongoing relationship servicing with current members to maintain goodwill and gain additional business.
Responsible for opening and closing new memberships, including IRA, Trust, Estate
Responsible for processing personal and vehicle loans with accuracy and efficiency.
Under the direction of management, responsible for the accurate daily branch settlement. Control the vault, ATM machine and all negotiable instruments within the branch.
Demonstrate operational excellence, looks for ways to improve operational efficiency; branch settlement responsibilities; understanding loss prevention procedures.
Maintain established quality control and audit standards.
Responds to member inquiries and requests.
Processes member transactions accurately and efficiently.
Examine documents for endorsement and negotiability. Detect and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Balance daily transactions and verify cash totals. Investigate and resolve out-of-balance conditions.
Performs accurate and timely file maintenance on member accounts.
Participates in and supports branch and community events.
Responsible for making outbound calls to members when appropriate and necessary.
Is responsible for adhering to operational controls, including compliance with all required regulations and policies such as Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to ensure the safety and soundness of the Franklin Mint Credit Union and its members.
Qualifications
Education and Experience

High School Diploma/GED required or a minimum of 3 years of equivalent experience in a retail environment.
2 years of college preferred.
Plus a minimum of 2 years of related financial services industry experience required.
Must have demonstrated ability to succeed in a retail environment.

Strong knowledge of Personal Banking products/services and commercial deposits.
